Bright Msaka SC Exposed, Drawing two salaries

Former Chief Secretary to the government who is current Minister of Lands, Housing and Urban Development Mr Bright Msaka SC is defrauding tax payers money by drawing two salaries monthly in the range of over K6 million.

Government is paying Mr Msaka full benefits as Lands minister as well as getting paid the salary of his former public job of Chief Secretary to the government drawing K2, 900, 000 in plus other benefits like entertainment allowance.

Bright Msaka SC, who was Chief Secretary when Prof Bingu wa Mutharika died, lost his job because of his connection to the “Midnight 6 Saga” and was replaced with Mrs Hawa Ndilowe.

According to our impeccable source in the OPC, By occupying a political position of a minister means Msaka is no longer a civil servant to warrant enjoyment of the Chief Secretary salary.

Making matters worse, Mrs Hawa Ndilowe is also drawing salary and other benefits of Chief Secretary, according to the source.

The source indicated that Mr George Mkondiwa, the current Chief Secretary is also drawing salary and benefits for the same position although his are posted in form of suspense account (NE – Non-establishment).

What this means is that three people are receiving salaries for the same position of Chief Secretary a development which points to the cost of poor decision making at the highest level.

According to sources, parliament may be called upon to sort out this mess or to engage OPC.
