THE CORRUPT SYNDICATE HAS TAKEN OVER GOVERNMENT

0

Although many will deny and refuse to believe it, those of us who are following the comings in and the goings out at Capital Hill know that that a corrupt syndicate has taken over government and is running all the operations in Malawi with Presidential Assistant Ben Phiri at the helm.

This has been done by systematically frustrating the President and blocking him from having access to his own cabinet ministers and anyone who can help him govern. The syndicate has all the control of state machinery including some members of the Judiciary. It has even established its own separate legislative faction, signing side deals with foreign institutions, and passing laws for a fee. One such law, strong-armed by the syndicate, is the recently signed Marriage Bill. This bill was sanctioned by Ben Phiri who then hoodwinked his puppet, President Peter Mutharika to ascent to it.

It is clear Peter Mutharika is being kept under the illusion that he is in charge when the syndicate saboteurs have taken advantage of his weak personality and leadership inabilities, and especially his zero knowledge of Malawi politics to make him a complete and total puppet.

The President has been heard on several occasions calling Ben Phiri “my rock”. The move has of course frustrated many within the DPP inner camp and was the reason why seven cabinet ministers demanded a meeting with the president, which I wrote about a few days ago.

The Vice President is not part of the syndicate and for his resistance and strong moral stance, there are now active efforts to frustrate and side line him. Meanwhile, the Chief Secretary is using the official government vehicle MG 3 denoting that the syndicate consider him to be Second Vice President.
Those who have an ear, let them hear.
