Mwanache pens open letter to Tay Grin

Hip-Hop is competitive art form; emcees going back and forth on a beat and not on social media.

All that work is shown through accolades but last year’s Music Malawi (MUMA) awards left a lot to be desired, according to some fans and artists.

Well, Prime Time Media artist Manache hasn’t let go yet and had some words directed towards Best Hip-Hop/Rap award recipient Tay Grin Wednesday morning.

Looks like Mwanache, whose hit song “Zimandukhudza” with legendary Lulu has been dominating charts and airplay, is feeling he’s going to get robbed at the next MUMAs or he’s just threatened with competition? You decide.

Tay Grin has not put out any new music lately after the award-winning “The Beach” feat. The Very Best and Seye as well as “Beautiful Girl” with Afro RnB maestro Maskal.

Read Mwanache’s Chichewa open letter to Tay, which was posted on Facebook but was later deleted:

“Dear Limbani Kalilani AKA Tay Grin kapenanso kuti Nyau King,
