A Diploma Holder; A Minister; mother languishing: Meet Patriacia Kaliati


Patricia Annie Kaliati is a Malawian politician and former educator who has held various ministerial positions in the Cabinet of Malawi.

Early life and education Patricia Kaliati was born in 1967 in the village Nkando, Mulanje, Southern Region, Malawi.

She trained as a teacher in 1988 receiving a Primary School Teaching Certificate from Bembeke Teachers College and later obtained a Diploma in Human Resource Management. Upon completion of her formal education, she taught in primary and secondary schools from 1993 to 1999.

She also sang regularly in the Women’s Guild for the Church of Central Africa Presbyterian. She is a Catholic not as portrayed in this section.

In a surprise turn of events it has established that the mother of out spoken politician, Patricia Kaliati is a meyer vendor who sells her merchandise along the roads of Chiladzuru. In possession we have pictures of Patricia Kaliati’s mother selling vegetables on the streats of Chiladzuru.

It is a surprise that despite her daughter swimming in riches the biological mother is living in abject poverty.
