Victory and success in God is obtained not just through prayer rumblings around the throne. It is obtained through believing in his promises. What we pray to God is his own word – the promises. Nothing in your life happens by mistake, it is following what you have believed. “As a man thinks or believes in his heart, so is he.”
If you meditate upon the good unfailing promises of God, it doesn’t matter what you background is. It doesn’t matter what your education is. It doesn’t matter where you were born. It doesn’t matter what colour of your skin is. It doesn’t matter what job you hold. It doesn’t matter what your education is. It doesn’t matter what others are saying about you. It doesn’t matter what body size you are. It doesn’t matter what your status in society is.
It doesn’t matter what the doctors are saying about you. Your situation does not change God neither does it change His Word and promises.
What matters is what God is saying about you. What matters is what God has promised you. What matters is what God wants you to achieve. What matters is his word in your heart. What matters is your belief in the One who has called you because he is faithful and will do his word in you.
“….. according to all that he promised: there has not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised …..” – I Kings 8: 56.
“Not one of all the LORD’s good promises to Israel failed; every one was fulfilled.” – Joshua 21:45
“…..You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the LORD your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed.” Joshua 23: 14.
God is not man to lie and he never failed and has never failed to fulfil his promises. Why should he fail now? I am persuaded in my heart that God will not even learn how to fail now.
Pray and rededicate yourself to God fully choosing to trust him, trust his Word and praying the promises in your life. Pray that the Holy Spirit will help you discover the promises as you search the scriptures and meditate upon them. Pray for an increase in your faith to believe him even for greater things. He is a great God and delights himself in doing big things.
