Goodall GondwE, DPP pockets from MSB sale, Statements in Reporters hands

After FDH owner Thom Mpinganjira took control of the 75 percent stake in Malawi Savings Bank a number of bank accounts including that of the finance minister Goodall Gondwe have been accredited with millions in relation to the sale.

A reporter who has dug out the bank statements is now one of the wanted people marked for death by the blue mafias.

According to our sources the DPP Mafias want the head of the reporter because the bank statements will reveal all DPP big guns that benefited from the sale just like how Gondwe has been exposed and also other deals.

A close friend to the reporter who is also a journalist told Afriem that his friend in possession of the bank statements and has been warned to shut up or face death.

The friend further said: “Gondwe’s bank account and other anonymous accounts have made money from issues related to the sale of MSB sale and other deals.”

Recently, Finance minister Goodall Gondwe officially told parliament that the MSB was sold to FDH Holdings Limited, owned by Thom Mpinganjira, after what government thought were enough consultations.

Gondwe lied that there were a lot of consultations on the matter where civil society organizations, economic experts and Malawians debated and reached a conclusion to sell the bank.
