Breaking News:

VUTalk is finally here!

Rising Star Entertainment is proud to announce that is now operational. It is Malawi’s long-awaited user generated events guide, designed to be the quickest and most effective way of answering one simple but common question “What is there for me to do today/this week/this month/this year in my city?” It allows Malawians to answer this question in several ways: the slider which allows businesses use to highlight their biggest events using graphics and text; the calendar which users can browse through by day or week or month; and the search
button that allows users to find specific events using keywords.

We expect the website to greatly decrease the cost of marketing events in Malawi while increasing its effectiveness. First, it harnesses the power of the internet as the fastest method of delivering event information to the type of clientele that have both the disposable income to attend your events and the educational foundation and curiosity to appreciate the widest variety of events. Second, it focuses on presenting only event-related information in a format that is consistent and simple to grasp therefore enabling event hosts to avoid the extra non-event related “noise” that exists in other more traditional advertising media. Lastly, it centralizes and
increases the accessibility of event-related information allowing event hosts to better coordinate
activities and avoid conflicting schedules.

We are excited to offer this service to Malawian community and are encouraged by
the positive feedback we have received so far, not only from potential event goers but some of
the leading event makers in Malawi:

“This new events website will be a boom for both Events management companies but
also for customers to allow them to be up to date and informed as to what is happening in
their city. Anyone who has logged onto the site can’t but be impressed at the quality of the
product, and for us advertising an event is ever so easy”

“Qoncept creative has organized some of the biggest events in Malawi from Oliver Mtukudzi to
Anne Kansiime but even a well-known brand like ours needs to find innovative ways of getting the
word out. We’re excited about a site like this dedicated to informing people using a simple, noisefree
-Qoncept Creative

We would also like acknowledge the tremendous support we have received from local
businesses, particularly the invaluable design input and assistance offered to us by Idea265
