UMP roster released.

UMP festival organisers have released the initial roster of artists to perfom at this years’ festivities’ on November 8, 2015.

The roster which has been purely fans choice was made available on Tuesday.

There has been heavy criticism when it comes to local artists being sidelined during festivals the latest to be snubbed being Blantyre Arts Festival.

However, this is not the case with UMP which has made it possible to put together every urban artist fans have been anxious to see perfom this year.

Talk of Home Grown Africa, Trap Squad, Young Kay, Martse, Sangie, Nepman.

You can see the full roster below:

This is UMP’s initial line up:
Chimz Kelly (Zambia),
Blak Jak,
Young Kay,
Trap Squad,
One, Home Grown African, Yolanda Kaluma.

Inside sources indicate the late dancehall genius Mafunyeta and hip hop pioneer Criminal A have been suggested as this years lifetime achievement nominees.

A panel of three judge; Kimpho, Panther and Rex from MBC TV will be the panelists to choose the award winners.

This year festivities will take place at BAT Ground, Sunday 8th Nov, from 10 AM.

Pre Party will be held at Basement and Amazon with Gwamba performing fresh off his Lake of Stars set.

Charges for the festival are pegged at MK1000 & MK5000 (VIP)
