MBC Tv shames government

0

In what the management of the tax funded MBC Tv thought was cleaning their slate in what they said a rebroadcast of events from the State president’s arrival from the UN trip, the Tv station has ended up showing the nation and world at large of how the party took over what was supposed to be a government event.

The president’s convoy was shown dominated by DPP cadets and women with party flags outnumbering national flags. The 30 or so minutes that viewers were subjected to from 20:00 hours on Sunday revealed that the DPP government still fails to separate state and party functions.

On arrival, the president only answered two questions, one in English and another in Chichewa from public funded MBC, after he had briefly inspected a guard of honour as mounted by the Second Battalion of the Malawi Army in Lilongwe. During the live broadcast, it was less than 10 minutes that the president was show from the time he stepped on the saluting dice to the time he was leaving the airport.
