It is not over until it is over: Chiukepo level with Innocent

Rejuvenated robust Big Bullets Chiukepo Msowoya is co-top goal scorer in the 2015 TNM Super League Season after scoring Bullets third goal in their last game of the season. Bullets triumphed over Civo United 3-1, in a game the civil servants scored first. The game was played at Civo United in Lilongwe.

Before the game, Red Lions striker Innocent Bokosi was the leading scorer with 14 goals.

Bokosi has been leading a good part of the league but last week, Msowoya levelled the goals before Bokosi came back on top this week, giving pressure to Msowoya and Bullets in their last game, as the whole team was trying to assist the burly striker to be on top of events.

However Msowoya told the media that he was not under pressure and when Civo scored first in the Sunday game, many thought the accolade would go to Bokosi, but it was never over until it was over.

Bullets got the first goal with an own goal by a Civo defender that deflected in the Civo net from Msowoya’s shot which made some think that the equaliser was scored by Msowoya. With each team playing classic match, Mussa Manyenje cleared a goal bound shot by Pilirani Zonda to deny his team an early lead. He however cleaned his slate when he scored for the Peoples team to send the red army in ecstasy.

Msowoya sealed Civo’s fate and a goal that earned him a co-leading top goal scorer.
