Big Bullets are interested in bringing Polokwane City veteran striker Esau Kanyenda on-board.

News coming out of Malawi is that the country’s league champions, Big Bullets FC, are interested in bringing Polokwane City veteran striker Esau Kanyenda on-board.

A source close to the Blantyre-based club told the Siya crew that the club want to have a strong team for their new season which starts in February.

The team already has other former PSL players on their books, namely Fischer Kondowe, Chiukepo Msowoya as well as Swadick Sanudi, who is the goalkeeper coach.

“They are building a strong team. They want to challenge for as many trophies as they can in the Malawi Super League and they feel that Esau would add value to their striking force.”

“There is also the chance of Msowoya to a South African team and they want to replace him with another experienced player,” the source said.

Chiukepo Msowoya, the former Orlando Pirates man, is the league’s joint top goal scorer with 14 goals. His rumoured exit would pave the way for the signing of experienced striker, Kanyenda.
