Eyes are glued to what Blessings Chisinga has said: We must indeed take Politics as a PROJECT- time is of essence, planning is paramount, implementation is gold, coordination and collaboration being fuel, sacrifice and investment being a must.

The 5th All-Inclusive Stakeholders Conference on economic and political direction of Malawi organized by Public Affairs Committee (PAC), a platform for different local religious organizations in Malawi, is under way in the commercial city of Blantyre from 17 to 18th February.According to PAC’s spokesperson, Father Peter Mulomole, the conference which has attracted representatives to all political parties, donors, Civil Society Organizations, academia among others is aimed at developing solutions to the current economic and political situation in the country.

“The deliberations to this conference will be guided by the topics like political analysis, permanent planning commission, economic situation, health and agriculture as the country is experiencing food crisis,” he said.

The event, therefore, he said, may come up with conclusions or resolutions by a way of a road map to define how the current situation can be dealt with.
THINGS HEATING UP AT PAC CONFERENCE, HERE ARE THE DELIBERATIONS (AT MOUNT SOCHE | AFRIEM)

4:15pm: Martha Kwataine said nothing can come out the Judas Iscatiots we gave power to, where the 577 billion is not up to now accounted for.

Kachaje had just finished his first presentation where he attacked cash gate, spending on consumption not development , tractor gate and the rest of corruption activities. He says we are a bicycle economy that is run on limousine appetites.

He is asking for us to Magufulise our governance style. He has run headlines of hunger and economy falling and statements of government that say we have a lot of maize which appears to be more of sarcastic babblings of president Peter Mutharika.

Blessings Chinsinga is presenting with his major point so far is since multi-party being accidental presidents. Presidents are too powerful, parties ate reactionary, they are not political projects.

Earlier on the major highlight was honorable Matola calling out minister of finance Gondwe on the Kutengule corruption case.

Hon dzoole has raised the challenge of independence of parliament as it is controlled by the executive. He also suggested a change from word opposition to government a government in waiting.

Hon Kamuzu Chibambo has argued that the approach to address national challenges at forums like PAC is flawed in the first place cause of the short time allocated.

Hon chibambo also has talked of the scourge of tribalism. Hon Kamlepo Kaluwa talked of tribalism earlier.

Hon Helen Singh has just added to the issue of 577 billion, asking why Bingu estate has not been asked by any lawyer. Singh also agreed on the issue of Malawi being troubled by tribalism, racism which I think she will relate to Mbatata very well.
18:45 Kaferapanjira said, Business world it is stolen from people by government, the way business is being conducted, is as good as stealing. Monetary policy of Mutharika’s government is a failure and this government has accepted failure. This way of running government is bad, ufiti or what said Kaferapanjira, taking the government to the dry cleaners. Kaferapanjira continued to say, Headlines flashed , mapeto retrenches 300, blackouts, electricity.

Now minister Goodall gondwe contributed by saying that changing to address issues raised today on the economy. Gondwe blames interest rates, and floods for current situation.

Gondwe’s continued defense mechanism-title
add: Gondwe shifts the blame on God saying that it all depends on God’s rains.
