0

Upcoming politician from Mzimba, Katundu MuzitovAckson Kalaile Banda, has hailed flamboyant ECG prophet Shepherd Bushiri for distributing maize to thousands of Malawians at a time when the country is going through biting hunger.

Kalaile Banda, who is an aspiring parliamentarian for Mzimba South East, says what Bushiri has done speaks volumes of the love and impact he has on the lives of Malawians.

“He started his humble ministry here at home and his heart has remained with his roots hence his decision to come back and bail out his brothers and sisters. His prophetic ministry is fulfilling the need for man to be taken care of both in body and spirit. Malawians need to learn something from such a gesture,” Kalaile Banda said in an interview in Mzuzu where Prophet Bushiri donated maize to thousands of people who gathered at Zolozolo ground.

The youthful politician called upon Malawian leaders at government, religious, community and traditional level to work hand in hand so as to give poor and vulnerable people relief through provision of basic necessities.

To those who did not access the maize, the prophet gave out K35 million for them to share and purchase food from other government and private markets.

On the same day Prophet Bushiri also distributed maize and blankets to Mzuzu Prison and St John of God Hospital as part of his schedule.

Since commencing his food distribution in the Southern Region months ago, Prophet Bushiri has donated food worth K100 million to Malawians regardless of their political and religious affiliation.
