Unknown criminals in Blantyre stole a motor vehicle driven by Kalekeni Chimdembe and dumed it

The 49 year driver who hails from Kausiwa village in chief Kuntaja in Blantyre and was working a tax driver for Billison Gama was hired by two men at Kandodo corner shop who were later joined by three collegaues at Chilunga ground which is soon after Kachere Primary School in Ndirande going to Makhetha.

We understand that he was told point blank that they only want to use it to steal somewhere and will give him back after the operation.

“He was tied on both hands and legs and the vehicle was later dumped at Ndirande flats but they also removed a battery, radio, speakers, jerky and an amplifier,” said a police source.

The vehicle is being kept at Blantyre police, Wenera.

It is not known whether the vehicle was used to steal at Total Maselema filling station or it was another crew that hit the Total filling station.
