Breast play earn tenant two and half years jail


A man who thought could find solace in tenancy labour by playing around with breast of his boss’ daughter has found himself on the wrong side of the law and has ben jailed two and half years.

First Grade Magistrate Court sitting at Kasungu has handed Harrison Chisale, aged 35, a 30 months custodial sentence for indecently assaulting a 15 year old girl.

“Here is what unfolded, during the night of 28 July, 2016, Harrison Chisale who was working as a tenant farmer for the victim’s father sneaked into the victim’s house and started touching her thighs and breasts while she was asleep.

“Due to strange movements hovering over her body, the victim woke up and found the convict busy fondling her breasts.

The victim shouted for help and Chisale was arrested and taken to Kasungu Police Station where he was charged with Indecent Assault contrary to Section 137(1) of the Penal Code,” said the police in Kasungu.

In court, Harrison Chisale pleaded guilty as charged. Before sentence, the State through Prosecutor Inspector Griffin Luhanga of Kasungu Police Station described Chisale’ behaviour as heinous and he requested the court to give him a stiff sentence so as to deter other would be offenders.

Luhanga further described Chisale’s action on the victim as morally decay that needed a chastisement under the pain of the law.
Before passing sentence, Kasungu First Grade Magistrate, His Worship Damiano Banda seconded Luhanga’s call and slapped Chisale with a 30 months jail term.

Harrison Chisale comes from Namkumba village, Traditional Authority Kabudula in Lilongwe district.
