Big Issues, Opinions & Editorial

Thursday speech by Dr Lazarus Chakwwra was going to be watched closely, at least by the media, MCP supporters and DPP mainly, the sponsors of the other side.

A renowned speaker like Dr Lazarus Chakwera, people come expecting him to say something good but on this day, while he was closely watched, HE EVEN WENT AS FAR AS SMASHING HIS OWN BAR.

What are my to bars in the speech: “As a party, it was resolved that we continue on our oath to rebranding as we prepare ourselves,”

Dr Lazarus Chakwera is a team leader not a team ruler, just in case u need an introduction to the new MCP hence him start by showing that the decisions being made are more to do with MCP as a team than going it alone like many other leaders do. He also points that the rebranding of the party is more important and is a continuous process.

“We have taken cognizant of the suffering of Malawians in all spheres of life: agriculture, health, education, economy, security, social,”

Pointing straight to what these political fights are doing to Malawi, Dr Laz pointed that the currently type of politics being started by DPP is doing more harm than good. He points to that Agriculture, Education, Economy and security and all are suffering and then went to show that still THE BIGGER PART OF MCP is still focusing on how to improve the lives of Malawians and the countries economy despite DPP trying to divert MCP to wrong battles away from policies.

Coming at a time the president of Malawi, Peter MUTHARIKA IS BEING LED BY FEAR and failing to make a big decision on what to do with his ministers who stole 577 billion, STEPS UP THE SON OF GOD WHO IS LED BY FAITH AND NOT FEAR OR BLING OPTIMISM to make a big decision looking at the bigger picture to solve a bigger issue that running away from important decisions.

Scoring more he hits the bar even harder: “It is with that view in mind that as a Party we remain focused on keeping ourselves relevant to all Malawians”.

Part of concluding is also Introducing the main reason why the press release is called for and he hits “we are doing all we can to make sure that the Party (is moving) as a unified force”. Showing a team is more important than powerful individuals hence a decision is necessary for the a party.

Adding to pepper his speech, he marks the current situation as “a road to redeeming this nation” which is never smooth but worthy going through.
