Fake assurance as DPP candidates steal relief items

As the DPP president is busy hovering one place after another in a comic like style telling people his government is so caring and require another chance to rule Malawi, it has been un covered that the party’s zealots are cashing on the disaster.

Sources have collaborated that rice is been stolen from the state controlled Admarc depots where Dodma is supposed to be drawing some of the relief food for the desperate affected Malawians.

“On 13th March people had suggested they distribute the maize the next day but candidates got some of the relief food at night. The DC was informed and given the Admarc Officials number who was at the centre of things but your guess is god as mine that he cannot act lest he be bitten by the known un known,” said a source at the parastatal.

He added: “Today three trucks loaded with rice arrived at Bangula Admarc(Camp)where floods victims are seeking refuge were taken out by the DPP, just imagine!”

One notable face was DPP shadow MP for Nsanje Lalanje Gladys Ganda who forced the offloading of the relief item after intimidating those assigned to get the items for the intended purpose.

“She thinks she will gain mileage over that yet people are watching and she is denying herself the little votes others would have given her because some DPP followers are angry with her appetite to inflict more suffering to the less privileged,” added another source within DPP, who disclosed that news that the party received at district level was that the case of the Shadow MP happened around 6pm and that she took away with over 20 bags.
