The former President of the country, Joyce Banda has urged government to speak out on how a susppect who was accused of taking a role in the abduction of people living with albinism  died in Police custody.

The former President said Malawians need answers on Buleyas death.

“This man who died mysteriously in the hands of the police is believed to have had leads to where body parts of people living with albinism are being sold.

“The government must tell us what happened because we want to know.

“Malawians have lost trust in this government because their lives are in danger.

“If people are dying in the hands of the police what more with people who are not under any protection?” she asked, adding:

“The question is what did they want to conceal by kiling him?”

In the past weeks it was reported that an audio from an accomplice to Buleya was circulating on social media platforms revealing that Ntaba is the one collecting body parts on behalf of President Muthalika.

The same Ntaba was on record saying that the killings escalates towards elections because politicians uses the albino body parts for rituals to attract voters.

“We were told by our Tanzanian counterparts that during elections more albinos get killed because politicains uses the body parts for rituals to win elections,” he said.
