The Construction works of the Sports Complex started in January 2021 and is expected to finish in September 2022.

Chakwera wants projects to complete in time

Meanwhile, President Chakwera has bemoaned the slow pace of the construction of Houses for Security Officers like Police, Army and Immigration which he launched over 100days ago.

The State President assured Malawians that every project he is to launch will at all cost be completed as per the given period.

Malawi has lived for many years without a reliable indoor sports complex nor a magnificent Netballcourt and has been relying on College of Medicine sports complex which does not stand an international standard.
